Brisbane Grammar School is committed to a liberal education philosophy, which takes a holistic view of the development of the individual. The Student Welfare System at Grammar is integral to and enhances all aspects of school life. It strives to create a culture that encourages the ongoing development of a resilient and responsible individual who is connected to the School and wider community. The monitoring of every individual’s progress through all areas of school life and the additional case management of boys with particular needs is the major focus of formalised pastoral care structures in the School. Emphasis is also placed on building a sense of community at a variety of levels (class, year group, school and the wider community).
